The 1st EP, Difference/Current Location, by jazz musician Shu Akimoto was a work in which he sought his own “ECM” approach to jazz.

This second EP serves as a spin-off that was simultaneously released with the previous work. In pursuit of experimental sounds, it contrasts the “tone” of the previous EP through techniques such as reverse playback and added noise. Continuing the series, the closing track, GPS feat. Taniou a.k.a. Yoshio Ootani, ermhoi, with Yo Irie, Hiroaki Mizutani (from Tipographica), features singer-songwriter Yo Irie, whom Akimoto admires, and bassist Hiroaki Mizutani. The work takes the artistic world further into chaos, clarifying its conceptual vision.

ジャズミュージシャン/秋元修による1st-EP「相違/現在地」はジャズに対する自身の”ECM”を求めた作品だった。
　2nd-EPとなる今作「差異/現在地」は前作に於ける同時リリースされたスピンオフである。実験的なサウンドを求め、逆再生、ノイズの付加等、前作と”色”が対比する今作では、引き続きラストを飾る「GPS feat.谷王 a.k.a 大谷能生,ermhoi,with 入江陽,水谷浩章（from Tipographica)」に私淑するSSW/入江陽、ベーシスト/水谷浩章を迎え、より世界観が混沌に向けて明確化した作品となった。
